This project was designed to highlight Connor, the model's, duality. She inspires me in many ways and has always asked me to do her makeup in a bold way. This shoot was done on the steps of High Street in Auckland, NZ. While walking the street Connor felt confident in her look but you could see she was getting some glares from city dwellers going about their day. Connor has never let what other people think of her define who she is. She has a unique personality that ranges from beaming positivity to irrational anxiety and this internal struggle is represented in these images. A lot of time was spent consulting her on what the final outcome would look like and in the end she was very happy with it.
